Description – What the role is about

Trusona is looking for a high-energy, revenue-driven Director of Demand Generation to join a lean but mean marketing team that’s going to help change the world by making the Internet a safer place! 

This person will have overall responsibility for all the marketing programs at Trusona aimed at getting prospects excited about our products and building sales pipeline. This person will report to the VP Marketing and work closely with the Marketing Director, as well as the SDR and Product teams. They will also work across the organization with the Sales, Customer Success and Administration teams. The environment is fast-paced, and the position requires the ability to quickly adjust and adapt to evolving strategies. They must have experience in developing, implementing and managing multi-channel demand generation activities, messaging, content creation and programs that will drive awareness and a significant volume of inbound sales leads. 


Responsibilities – What you will be doing

  • Run all demand/lead generation programs 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the buyer’s journey 
  • Implement lead nurture streams 
  • Own the strategy and execution of paid targeted campaigns 
  • Event planning and execution 
  • Manage and execute digital marketing efforts  
  • Leading the creation of marketing content for demand gen activities 
  • Ownership of Google Analytics for data-driven reporting and decision-making 
  • Driving SEM activities 


Qualifications – What you bring to the team

  • B2B, B2B2C marketing experience in cybersecurity or identity and access management markets is preferred 
  • Experience marketing to the CISO and Chief Digital Officer  
  • Experience driving campaigns leveraging Salesforce, marketing automation and social media 
  • Experience using marketing automation and lead management tools to streamline, automate and measure all marketing tasks and workflows 
  • Solid background in email campaign tools such as Hubspot, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc. 
  • Salesforce configuration, reporting & data mining expertise 
  • Strong knowledge of website CMS tools (WYSIWYG web design tools) – WordPress highly desirable  
  • Ability to identify channels and activities that resonate with our target audience 
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn/Facebook/Twitter advertising platforms 
  • Experience planning client-focused events 
  • Skilled in content creation, including basic ad/email/website content 
  • Experience in basic design – creating well-designed email and social media campaigns 
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics 
  • Ability to effectively analyze and report the impact of your activities on the overall pipeline 
  • Adept at managing Google AdWords 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing; Master’s degree a plus 
  • 3-5 year of related experience, or the equivalent in combined education & experience 
  • Marketing in a startup environment 
  • Analytical and results-driven (i.e. loves Microsoft Excel)  
  • Super team player
