Can we use our own company branded mobile app for Trusona authentication, or do I have to use the Trusona app?
You can absolutely integrate Trusona seamlessly within your own branded mobile app experience. We have native mobile SDKs available for you to integrate with your branded iOS and Android mobile applications.
Additionally, we also have an app-less experience where your consumers can use their web browsers to point to your branded web page and authenticate using Trusona.

How is removing a password from my login more secure?
Despite typical attempts to make static credentials more secure by adopting two-factor authentication (2FA) utilizing OTPs or SMS, these added layers still leave your customers vulnerable to various attacks.
By removing the password, we enable customers to instantly mitigate eight of the most common attack vectors used by threat actors to infiltrate our most trusted accounts, like SIM swapping, keylogging, credential replay, and credential stuffing.
Remember, Trusona does not cache your password and/or pre-fill it behind the scenes – it truly eliminates passwords altogether for your consumers!

How does removing a password from logins remove friction from my customer journeys?
Trust us, your customer won’t miss the user ID and password. Say G00dby3! to the complex passwords your customers can’t remember. Take all the n0nes3nse they hate out of static credential logins and give them a next generation digital authentication experience. Trusona is consumer-ready, with an intuitive experience your users will appreciate. Give your brand a digital face lift today!
Does Trusona collect and store personal identifiable information (PII)?
Trusona does not collect or store any PII information from your customers. We just need a unique user identifier that correlates to a unique consumer on your side. Also, remember, we are passwordless – we do not use, require or store any of your customers’ passwords.

Does Trusona store personally identifiable information (PII) when ID proofing?
Trusona only stores a one-way hash of the data captured from the document in our secure systems for later use as a token. You can find our data handling controls in our privacy policy.
Do my customers always have to scan a QR code to use Trusona?
No, not necessarily. It depends on the use case and modality of where your customer is trying to authenticate from.
We require users to scan a QR code if they are logging from a non-mobile device, like a desktop, or TV, or ATM, or point-of-sale terminal.
On a mobile device, users do not need to scan QR codes, as we utilize ‘deep linking’ in order to allow you to log in from the same device that you authenticate with.
In other use cases like call center authentication, there is no QR code scanning either as the call center agent sends you a push notification.

Can I use Trusona technology on multiple devices for a single user?
Yes. Registration is easy and just requires a valid email address. Your employees can register a single device or multiple devices per their needs.

Do my employees need internet connectivity on my phone for authentication?
No. To use our mobile app for a secure, passwordless experience, your employees will need data connectivity on their phone for cloud-based applications. But if they don’t have data connectivity on their phone for some reason, they can still use Trusona for Windows 10 PCs or authenticate with our 2-step verification process using TOTP codes.
What are your integrations?

But Trusona can also be integrated in a variety of other use cases, including with your PAM, VPN, IAM, and other enterprise applications. In fact, if your enterprise application (even if home-grown) supports the SAML or Open ID Connect (OIDC) standards, then you can directly integrate with Trusona.

Trusona only stores a one-way hash of the data captured from the document in our secure systems for later use as a token. You can find our data handling controls in our privacy policy.
Can my workforce use Trusona without scanning a QR code?
Yes. We require users to scan a QR code if logging in from a non-mobile device, like a desktop. But, for convenience, they can skip the scanning of the QR code by utilizing the ‘Trust this computer’ option on a non-public machine. On a mobile device, your employees do not need to scan QR codes, as we utilize ‘deep linking’ to allow them to log in from the same device that they authenticate with.
